Badhushan Kiritharan

I provide patient, personalised Maths and Science tuition for pupils from KS2 through to A-level. I have nearly six years of tutoring and education support experience, including one-to-one lessons, small group teaching, lesson preparation, parent communication and adapting explanations for different learners. I am also studying for a BEng (Hons) in Aerospace Engineering at UWE Bristol.

My lessons focus on helping pupils understand the reasoning behind each method instead of simply memorising steps. I explain topics clearly, work through examples at the pupil's pace and use guided practice to identify gaps. We then build confidence through carefully chosen questions and regular recap. Lessons can support current schoolwork, revision, exam technique or a specific topic that is causing difficulty.

I teach KS2 Maths and English support, KS3 Maths and Science, GCSE Maths, Combined Science, Biology, Chemistry and Physics, plus A-level Maths and Science subjects. For A-level enquiries, I confirm the exact subject, exam board and topics before accepting the booking.

Online lessons are available across the UK through Google Meet. In-person lessons are available at the pupil's home in selected Liverpool areas, with a parent or responsible adult remaining on the premises. I hold a current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service and have completed safeguarding, Prevent, professional boundaries and behaviour management training.

All paid lessons are 60 minutes and pay as you go. Rates start at £25 online for KS2 to GCSE. A free 10 to 15 minute parent call is available before booking, but the first full lesson is paid.
