Azra Kahraman

I'm an incoming second year Chemistry student at the University of Oxford, with over 5 years of experience tutoring students from primary school to sixth form, I have helped many students achieve their desired grades in their subjects. Having worked with a wide age range of students, I am able to quickly establish rapport with students, creating a comfortable and engaging learning environment.

I currently mainly offer tutoring services for A-Level Chemistry, Maths and also Oxbridge applications for Chemistry and related subjects. I have many resources such as notes and flashcards which are tailor made to the specifications which will aid students revision.
I am also offering 11+ and GCSE tutoring for the Sciences, Maths , English and Sociology.

I've achieved 4A*’s and 2A’s in my A-Levels (Chemistry, Maths, Sociology, Turkish, Biology and EPQ), of which A-Level Maths was self taught.
My EPQ dissertation (5000 word essay) was on the place of medical euthanasia in contemporary British society.
I also received 5/5 university offers from Oxford, Imperial College London (ICL), University College London (UCL), Kings College London (KCL) and Bath.

I utilise evidence based study techniques in my lessons to maximise learning efficiency, allowing students to achieve their desired grades in a shorter period of time. I tailor my lessons depending on the students current grade, learning style and devise a realistic long term plan to ensure students succeed. I am receptive to the students feedback, therefore am able to efficiently adjust plans and teaching techniques to ensure students progress quickly.
