Math: I can help explain mathematical concepts, work through problems, and provide practice exercises.
Language arts: I can help with grammar, spelling, and vocabulary. I can also assist with reading comprehension and writing skills.
Science: I can provide information about a wide range of scientific topics and help explain scientific concepts.
Humanities : I can provide information about historical events, geography, and other social studies topics.
During the covid pandemic i tutored neighbourhood children and assisted them with homework . The format I use is effective at teaching children 3-10
Direct instruction: This is when I presents new information to the students. This could be in the form of a lecture, a demonstration, or an activity.
Guided practice: This is when I help the students practice and apply what they have learned. This could be through exercises, worksheets, or other activities.
Independent practice: This is when the students work on their own to practice and apply what they have learned. This might include homework assignments or other independent work.
Review and assessment: This is when I check to see what the students have learned and provides feedback. This could be through quizzes, tests, or other assessments.
