I have experience as I previously helped out the teachers at my local community centre, as I am bilingual and it aided them in teaching their students.

I incorporate fun into my lessons when possible. And while my easy-going style is suitable for many subjects and grades, I am also able to adapt my style to the needs of my students.

I use real objects found in the house hold to make it easier to learn and I also use images, this is because learning is different for everyone and each individual learns in their own ways.

The first couple of lessons will be focused on what you already know and understand and then I will help you expand your knowledge. This could be done through numerous ways such as, phonics, blending, descriptions of images and everyday objects around the house. I find that going over the knowledge learnt during the lessons at the very end, has helped my past students with their spelling and also words and sentences.

My lessons won't just be me talking but also my students. We will have a safe, trustful atmosphere during the lesson. There might be periods of silence, where I will give out a task and will expect it to be completed to the best of your ability.

As for things such as homework, there won't be a copious amount - not to worry - but enough to make sure that my students remember what has been learnt in lesson.

Lessons will range between 1 hour to 1.5 a session.
