I also have experience as a Student Ambassador and Presenter, where I spoke to groups of students and parents, provided information about college subjects and answered questions. This experience has helped me become more confident when communicating with different people and adapting the way I explain information.
I understand that every student learns differently, so I would aim to make lessons clear, engaging and suited to each student's individual needs. I am patient when explaining difficult concepts and would encourage students to ask questions and learn at their own pace.
I mainly teach basic Python programming language skills which you can use for GCSE computer science.
I use lots of online resources and my own resources, I can share with the students. I do lots of presenting and practical work so students can understand and play around with the program to boost their knowledge. Aswell as programming, I can also teach computer science at GCSE level. I understand the pressure on a student and don't mind repeating the lessons to help understanding.
