I am capable of providing lessons in various ways depending on students’ needs and understanding. I can use digital platforms for effective delivery of lessons. My teaching style is based on daily-life experiences to scientific or more complex forms.
I have taught Science subjects at university level planned lessons and delivered them using multimedia, took students to educational tours for better understanding and helped them by assessing their performances over period of time.
I worked as a secondary school teacher in various schools across Kent and helped students better understand their lessons and assignments by teaching them through simpler examples that includes their daily-life examples. Some of my students found the whole concept of cell division (specifically mitosis and meiosis) quite complex. I cracked it for them by asking leading questions about how they think they developed as a baby and then grew so big to be able to be at secondary schools so from their it was quite interesting for them to crack the while concept. Likewise I help students with maths and other science subjects.
I believe using simpler concepts are crucial to lay down basis to help students understand the complex ones. Additionally my approach is to engage students more in lessons by interacting with them more rather than only teaching and delivering lessons. Two-way communication and use of videos and images are more effective ways to memorise things for linger periods of time. As a researcher, I also try to involve students in doing research about any topic before I deliver it for their better understanding of the lessons.
