Over the past four months, I have taught students from Year 7 to Year 11 in math, focusing on helping them understand complex concepts and significantly improve their grades. We conduct our sessions via Google Meet, where students notify me in advance of the specific topics they need assistance with, allowing me to prepare tailored and relevant materials. If no specific content is indicated, we assess the student’s current level and I provide resources to help them understand the necessary curriculum, aiming to build their skills up to the GCSE level they aspire to achieve. My teaching style includes using interactive lessons such as quizzes to enhance long-term retention of the material. I break down complex concepts into manageable steps, ensuring that students grasp each element thoroughly before moving on. Additionally, I offer constant, constructive feedback and assign small, manageable homework tasks to reinforce learning and ensure students retain the content. All assignments and feedback are managed through Google Classroom, where students can easily access their work and track their progress. I prioritize punctuality and preparation, utilizing digital tools like online whiteboards and specialized math software to create an engaging and effective learning environment. By encouraging questions and maintaining a supportive and positive attitude, I aim to foster confidence and motivation in my students, helping them to achieve their academic goals and improve their overall performance in mathematics.
