What My Lessons Are Like

As a tutor with over 6 years of experience teaching Accounting at the university level, I design my lessons to be interactive, personalized, and student-focused. I believe that learning should feel both supportive and empowering, so I work to build a positive environment where students feel confident asking questions and actively engaging with the material.

Lesson Format:
Each session is structured to suit the student’s needs. We typically start by reviewing previous topics or assignments, then focus on the day’s goals whether that’s understanding a new concept, solving problems together, or preparing for exams. I use real-life examples, case studies, and step-by-step explanations to make Accounting clear and practical.

Content & Approach:
I cover a wide range of Accounting topics, including:
• Financial and Managerial Accounting
• Costing and Budgeting
• Financial Statement Analysis
• Business and Finance fundamentals (when needed)

For school-level learners (O/A Levels or IGCSE), I simplify concepts while maintaining academic rigor, ensuring students grasp both theory and application.

Teaching Style:
I adapt to each student’s pace and learning style. Whether you’re a visual learner, prefer problem-solving practice, or need theory explained clearly, I tailor my teaching accordingly. I also give regular feedback and support between lessons if needed.

Levels I Teach:
In addition to school-level learners, I teach university students and am also open and fully prepared to support professionals or companies seeking to enhance their accounting and finance knowledge for real-world application.

My Goal:
My goal is to help students understand Accounting deeply — not just memorize it — and to build the confidence needed to succeed in exams and apply concepts in real-world situations.
