My lessons are structured, interactive, and strongly concept-driven, designed to help students build deep understanding rather than memorise content. I usually follow a clear progression: establishing fundamental principles, connecting them to real-world applications, and then reinforcing learning through examples, discussions, and problem-solving activities.

I draw heavily on my experience in teaching and edtech content creation to present complex ideas in a clear, accessible way, using visuals, analogies, and case studies where appropriate. Lessons are adaptive rather than rigid, pace and depth are adjusted based on the learner’s background, questions, and confidence level. I actively encourage students to ask “why” and “how,” not just “what,” fostering critical thinking and independent learning.

As an MSc graduate in Fire Safety Engineering from Ulster University and a practising fire engineer, I bring strong industry relevance into my teaching. I integrate practical insights from engineering practice, standards, and real fire scenarios to bridge the gap between theory and professional application. Overall, my lessons are supportive, engaging, and academically rigorous, aimed at helping students gain both technical competence and conceptual clarity.
