I've had many students, I've enjoyed teaching every one of them, and they always tell me how excited they are for the lesson. I believe piano is an amazing skill to have for life, it's enriched my life so much and I can't stress enough how much of an incredible talent it is to have. I always teach the basics of rhythm and sight reading along with learning new pieces and songs to keep it fun while being a great learning experience.
