I’m a passionate and adaptable tutor with extensive experience supporting students in IB Chemistry, Biology, Business Management, and Mathematics Applications & Interpretation. My approach is student-led—I believe students thrive when they’re empowered to guide their own learning journey, set meaningful goals, and take ownership of their academic progress.

My teaching style blends structured concept delivery with targeted exam preparation. I often use past paper questions as a powerful tool to identify knowledge gaps and reinforce understanding through active learning. Whether a student prefers to dive straight into problem-solving or needs content explained step-by-step, I tailor my sessions to match their unique learning style.

I’ve worked with students from diverse backgrounds and academic levels, helping them improve their grades by over 50% in some cases. One of my most fulfilling experiences involved mentoring a Grade 9 student struggling with essay writing, supporting them through personalized feedback and strategies that led to a dramatic improvement in their performance.

What drives me most is the opportunity to share subjects I’m genuinely passionate about and to see that excitement reflected in my students. I aim to create a warm, encouraging environment where curiosity is welcomed, mistakes are seen as part of growth, and students feel confident to challenge themselves.

In terms of formatting, we will work in an online format whereby we will have the lessons via google meet. I will then screen share the content that we have agreed to discuss so we can run over it together and we will be on the same page.
