My violin lessons are designed to be fun, engaging, and supportive, especially for young beginners aged 5–9. I aim to create a positive environment where children feel comfortable, confident, and excited to learn.
Each lesson is structured but flexible depending on the child’s pace. We usually begin with a short warm-up to develop posture, bow control, and basic technique. From there, we move into simple exercises and beginner pieces, helping students gradually build their skills step by step. I also incorporate games and interactive activities to keep lessons enjoyable and maintain focus.
I have completed Grade 8 in Violin, Grade 6 in Music Theory, and GCSE Music, which allows me to support both practical playing and basic music understanding. I introduce theory in a simple and visual way so that children can recognise notes, rhythm, and timing without feeling overwhelmed.
My teaching style is patient and encouraging. I understand that every child learns differently, so I adapt my approach to suit their personality and confidence level. The goal is not just to learn the violin, but to build self-confidence, discipline, and a genuine enjoyment for music.
Lessons are available online or in person, and I always aim to make each session something students look forward to.
