Hi, I’m an English tutor working with adults who are often tired, overloaded, and think it’s “too late” or “too embarrassing” to start learning a language again. My job is to make it not just bearable, but actually enjoyable — even something you might look forward to.
I’ve been teaching languages for several years — both in schools and independently — and I know how frustrating traditional methods can be. That’s why I focus on a communicative, modern approach: no dry textbooks, no endless grammar drills. We build confidence and speaking skills step by step, in real contexts, using relevant topics, humor, curiosity, and a bit of structured chaos.
Many of my students are professionals juggling work, life, ADHD, burnout, and Google Calendar anxiety, so I keep things flexible and human. I’m not a language “guru” and you’re not my “client” — we’re two adults building a skill together, with me guiding the process and holding the structure. You don’t need superpowers — just a bit of support and a method that works for your brain.
I pay close attention to mindset and shame around language learning — that inner critic that says “I should already know this.” In our lessons, we learn how to tell it to shut up (politely). Small wins matter. Progress is rarely linear, and that’s okay.
My goal is to help you build a language habit that feels less like punishment and more like self-respect. Whether that means finally speaking without freezing, writing messages you’re proud of, or just feeling a little more clever — I’m here for all of it. And I genuinely love watching people surprise themselves.
