I have a degree of Ph. D in Linguistics. I have also got a postgraduate diploma in TESOL from UK. I have published 26 research papers in national and international journals of high repute. I have produced almost 30 scholars at M. Phil level and four of my Ph. D supervisees are waiting for their defense. I have evaluated almost 30 M. Phil theses. I have been the Editor-in-Chief of an international journal. I am also working as reviewer of numerous local journals. As a teacher, I have always produced excellent results through my teaching. I have been performing various administrative roles during my service as the Chair of the Department of English. I have also chaired many sessions an presented numerous papers at the national and international conferences.

I want to work as researcher and tutor at Graduate & Postgraduate level to fulfill my desire of playing a wider role in the teaching and research in the fields specifically, of Feminism & Gender, Women’s Writings, Women’s Representations in Media and Popular Culture, ELT, Sociolinguistics, Postmodern and Postcolonial Literature and of English Language and Literature, in general.
