Learning should be an enjoyable experience. Whether shorter bursts of information or more elaborate detailed explanations suit you best we will be able to discuss and figure out how to support your learning in the most effective way. Visual or auditory information as well as flash cards, mind maps, and practice questions will be incorporated to find which methods help you the most. I have had experience working with pupils with different learning abilities such as ADHD and Dyslexia therefore I will be able to work with both students and parents/carers to meet the needs of my tutees. During my education, I achieved grade 9’s and A’s in both GCSE and A-level English Literature and Language, thus I have mastered the key elements needed to achieve the highest grades possible. Striving for practice before perfection is vital in my teaching style so I set realistic and obtainable goals to keep you motivated and build the habits required for the optimal outcomes. As the sessions continue, we will also practice timed tasks and assignments to prepare for exams. Currently being a university student, I understand the pressure and anxiety that can come from academic pressures across all stages of learning, therefore one of my key values is creating a safe environment rid of judgement to allow you to communicate on your struggles and concerns surrounding the academic side of life. With my support, I will enhance your English skills in unique, practical ways to deepen your knowledge of how these skills can be applied to all areas of life until the routines we build become a habitual practice.
