I have been a KS3 Science Tutor for 2 years and I have been proven to be a proficient tutor who is easily adaptable to different leaning styles and abilities of students.
I not only help with explaining difficult concepts, but I also help creating suitable revision techniques based on the student's strengths and weaknesses within topics in order for them to get top marks in their exams.
A typical lesson would include a 10 minute recap of the previous lesson in order for the student's long term memory of the content to improve which is imperative for the student's success. This is followed by teaching the student new content that builds on the student's existing knowledge so they are more prepared for learning this content in school in order for them to understand the topic more deeply. Afterwards, I will write questions for the student to answer based on the content learned in the lesson which will be marked. Based on the student's answers, I will go over anything that the student requires further help to ensure no gaps are left I the student's necessary knowledge of the topic.
