Skills and Experience
7 in IB Visual Arts, 5 in AP 2D Design, a experience of learning A-level 2D Art.
Got Admitted by many art colleges and universities in UK/USA/Canada/HK/Australia
I specialise in Graphic Design and Media Studies, with a strong foundation in visual communication, media theory, and portfolio development. As a UCL Media BA student, I work with film analysis, game studies, interaction practice, and critical theory. I also have one year of experience mentoring secondary students preparing applications for undergraduate Graphic Design programmes, supporting them with project development, sketchbook structure, and portfolio curation.

My strengths include:
*Translating abstract theory (e.g. representation, ideology, semiotics) into clear analytical frameworks
*Guiding students from concept to final visual outcome
*Structuring strong personal statements and creative portfolios
*Providing detailed, actionable feedback on both written and visual work

My lessons are structured around three stages: diagnosis, construction, and refinement.

*Diagnosis – I identify the student’s current level, goals (exam performance, university application, portfolio improvement), and specific gaps in knowledge or technique.
*Construction – We break down skills into manageable components. For Media Studies, this may include argument building, case study selection, and essay structure. For Graphic Design, this may include concept development, research methods, typography fundamentals, and visual hierarchy.
*Refinement – I provide iterative feedback, focusing on clarity, coherence, and intentionality. Students learn not just what to produce, but why each decision strengthens their work.

I emphasise critical thinking, structured workflows, and independent problem-solving. My aim is to equip students with transferable methods rather than short-term fixes.
