I will be teaching GCSE Maths, aiming to make maths clear, manageable, and even enjoyable, especially for students who may feel stuck or lacking confidence.

Each session is structured but flexible depending on the student’s needs. We typically begin with a short recap of previous material to reinforce understanding, followed by a focused explanation of a key topic using clear examples. I then guide students through practice questions step-by-step before encouraging them to attempt similar problems independently, offering support where needed. I strongly believe that practice and examples are key to helping students properly understand the material.

To make lessons as effective as possible, it is very helpful if students can let me know in advance which topics they would like to focus on or areas they are struggling with. This allows me to prepare targeted explanations and relevant practice questions to make the most out of each session.

I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my approach to suit their pace and style, whether that means slowing things down, revisiting fundamentals, or challenging them with more advanced questions.

My goal is not just to help students improve their grades, but to ensure they genuinely understand the material and feel more confident approaching maths both in lessons and exams.
