In my experience, past paper questions are one of , if not the most effective tool for exam revision. My lessons will centre around systematically working through past paper questions for each topic of the given specification. This guarantees that students not only understand the content but can apply it in an exam setting in order to secure their marks. There will be a specific focus on areas where students struggle and that are worth the largest number of marks. For example, it is vital that students have mastered differentiation and integration for the A level pure course. Mistakes are a crucial part of the learning process and I hope to create an environment where students learn by doing and eventually will begin to recognise patterns in exam questions, solving them with increasing ease.
