At the beginning of the lesson we always go through the content of the previous lesson through further explanations and more practice questions to secure the knowledge. Afterwards, we cover either anything the student finds particularly challenging in school, or difficult sections of the curriculum that are yet to come. As an in-person tutor, I make sure to fully utilise diagrams and real life depictions of abstract concepts that would otherwise be unavailable to me online. After every lesson a few questions of homework are set, so the content is revised over the course of the following week. As a frequent tutor in maths drop-in sessions at school, I am well-versed in breaking down difficult concepts to students and approaching topics from different angles to aid explanations.
