I am a year 12 Student who has achieved a grade 9 in igcse maths, RS and Chemistry. I am currently undertaking A-level maths right now. I will offer a 30 minute consultation to go over specifics of the tuition so the lesson will personalised to your needs. In, terms of lesson structure, they will mostly consist of going over practice questions or teaching methods needed for the chosen topic depending on the skill level of said topic that is being taught. I would give small amounts of homework as I believe in n consolidating learning is key to achieving a high grade in maths as the more questions you answer will lead to a higher chance of remembering the method later for the actual exam. Past papers are also going to be a staple of the tuition or homework as I achieved my grade 9 almost exclusively on completing past papers.

In terms of content I would say that I would specialise in 11+, 13+ and GCSE maths.

*For GCSE maths tuition I would like to know the topics that you would like me to cover at least 2 days before the tuition as to give a full session I would want to prepare relevant practice questions and look through harder questions so that I would be able to explain them fluently and easily. Even through I did the IGCSE Drexel board for GCSE maths, I am still confident in teaching regular GCSE maths as the topics not covered in IGCSE e.g non calculator questions, have been covered as preparation for my A-level exams already so I am able to cover multiple exam boards.
