The Format:

Theory Mastery & Conceptual Clarity (15 mins): We start by dedicating time to ensuring you fully understand the underlying economic theory. We use structured discussion to clarify any concepts or challenging models from the week. No matter how simple or complex the theory, we ensure you have mastered it before we move forward.

Application & Analysis (30 mins): This is the core of the session. We use live, real-world examples—such as current UK government policy, inflation news, or international trade disputes—to apply economic theory. We will use interactive tools like shared whiteboards and documents to brainstorm diagrams and logical chains of reasoning.

Exam Technique Deep Dive: Past Papers & Long-Answer Mastery (15 mins): We dedicate the final portion to practicing key past paper questions (especially 25-mark essays). I provide detailed, actionable feedback focused on structuring and executing the perfect long-answer response, emphasizing clear analysis, diagrammatic support, and the critical A03 (Evaluation) skills that turn a B into an A*.
