My lessons are designed to be engaging, supportive, and accessible for every learner, no matter their starting point in maths. I run small group sessions where students get both personalised support and the chance to learn alongside others, building confidence through discussion and practice.
Each lesson follows a clear structure:
A short starter activity to recap key knowledge and build confidence.
A step-by-step explanation of new content, with worked examples broken down into simple, manageable parts.
Plenty of guided practice where I model problem-solving strategies before students try questions themselves.
Time for independent practice with my support as needed.
A quick review and reflection so students leave with a clear understanding of what they’ve learned.
I use a variety of approaches—visuals, real-life examples, and interactive questioning—to make sure lessons are not only clear but also relevant and enjoyable.
As a qualified maths teacher and Lead Practitioner, I bring years of classroom experience across different UK schools, as well as expertise in evidence-based teaching strategies. My mission is to make high-quality maths education accessible for all students, so lessons are always pitched at the right level to challenge, support, and inspire.
