In my lessons, I focus on creating a relaxed, supportive environment where you feel comfortable practicing and making mistakes (because that’s how real learning happens!) I tailor each session to your specific goals, whether that’s improving conversational fluency, mastering grammar, or building vocabulary for travel, work, or exams. We’ll use a mix of speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities, always grounded in real-life situations. As a native Spanish and English speaker with extensive tutoring experience, I understand the challenges of language learning firsthand and know how to keep lessons engaging, practical, and encouraging.

I also love incorporating authentic materials like songs, podcasts, articles, and short videos, so you can learn the language as it’s really spoken and used by native speakers. Depending on your interests, we might discuss cultural topics, current events, or even your favourite hobbies, making lessons feel less like a classroom and more like a meaningful conversation. I’ll give you helpful feedback along the way and recommend resources to support your progress outside our sessions. My goal is for you to feel more confident each week, see steady improvement, and actually enjoy the process.
