I’m a final-year Engineering student at Livepool Hope University, and I’m excited to offer private maths tutoring for school students. With a strong background in maths through my degree, I’ve developed a solid grasp of key topics—algebra, geometry, problem-solving—that I now really enjoy helping others understand in a simple, practical way.

While I don’t have formal teaching experience, I’ve often supported peers and younger students informally, especially when tackling challenging maths concepts. These experiences taught me how important it is to break problems down clearly, adapt to different learning styles, and encourage students to think through problems step by step. My goal is to help students not just “get the answer,” but actually build confidence in how they approach maths.

In lessons, I like to keep things structured but friendly. I usually start by checking in on any areas of confusion, then explain new ideas with examples—often linking them to real-life applications, especially from engineering—to make them more relatable. We then work through practice problems together before letting the student try independently. I always end with a recap and something small to work on before the next session. I’m happy to tailor sessions around schoolwork, revision goals, or longer-term skill-building.
