I am an Electrical and Information Engineering undergraduate at the University of Ruhuna with a strong interest in Mathematics and problem-solving. I enjoy helping students understand Mathematics in a simple, structured, and practical way rather than relying only on memorising formulas.
My lessons are suitable for students who want to strengthen their mathematical foundations, improve their problem-solving skills, prepare for examinations, or gain more confidence in Mathematics. I adapt each lesson according to the student’s current level, learning pace, and individual goals.
During my lessons, I explain concepts step by step and use worked examples to show how mathematical ideas can be applied to different types of questions. I also provide guided practice and gradually introduce more challenging problems as the student becomes more confident. For examination preparation, I can focus on problem-solving techniques, common question patterns, time management, and systematic practice.
I believe that students learn Mathematics better when they understand why a method works instead of simply memorising a procedure. Therefore, I encourage students to ask questions and explain their own thinking while solving problems. This helps identify areas that need improvement and develops independent problem-solving ability.
My engineering background has also given me strong exposure to mathematics, analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and technical problem-solving. I aim to create a friendly and comfortable online learning environment where students can learn at their own pace without feeling pressured.
