Hi! I'm a mathematics tutor that can support you and build your confidence and ability in mathematics. I have taught students from Year 7 to Year 11, with students of varying ability levels. Having spent time teaching abroad, I am experienced in teaching mathematics to students with English as a second language.

I understand how challenging maths can seem at times and I am sure I can make it easier for you in a way that you become more confident and comfortable enough whether it is answering questions in class, solving problems on the whiteboard, or just taking a test. You will develop the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in mathematics.

In the beginning, I will evaluate the student's current level in mathematics using a diagnostic test. using this I will prepare a plan of study based on their individual needs, what they are learning in school, and anything that I think they need to improve on.

During my lessons, I make sure to focus on breaking down the simple concepts and seeing what it is that a student is struggling with. Then I build their knowledge up with detailed explanations, finishing with you practicing some questions with support from myself.

For GCSE students (or A-Level students): I can provide you with important tips for answering exam questions, including how to break down the questions, and what specific steps are required for full marks.
