First lesson will be more of a conversation between me, the student and parents (optional). It would be a fantastic opportunity to sit down and talk about what they want out of this, whether that is to build confidence in computing a calculation, exam preparations or a more catered approach that meets the needs of the students. Once we have that I would like to give my student a test just so I can have a better understanding of where they truly are, which gives me an insight of their abilities and as soon as we've gone over that we will go back to basics! First things first, we need to strengthen the foundation As we work together we will slowly start to challenge the students with more complex questions relative to their qualifications (GCSEs & A-Levels).
During our time together we will use a variety of tools to aid us. From basic question sheets to exam-style questions, we will use everything to make sure that you are well prepared when it’s exam time!
I know how difficult maths can be and as a recent math graduate I want to use my experience to help those who are looking for support or guidance. I want to ensure that my students can explore all queries and tackle any problems that they may have.
