I like teaching through self prepared notes and slides. I prefer keeping the tone casual. After each lesson, I find keeping a small review is super helpful. I understand that learning medical biochemistry can be tedious and challenging, hence I try to simplify them as much as possible by omitting unnecessary clutter. Being a medical student the only thing that matters the most is patient based practical knowledge while correlating it to physiological and pathological aspects, so that remains the main focus of my lectures.
At the end of the day, understanding the method that works best for the student is my goal and I will adapt my lectures accordingly.
