When I was younger I used to think maths was the worst subject ever. This was because I didn’t understand any of it and so I would get frustrated with myself. I then got a private tutor who helped me tremendously and so I learned to enjoy it eventually! Because of this, I would love to help any child who is struggling with maths because I remember the terrible and embarrassing feeling when I used...
When I was younger I used to think maths was the worst subject ever. This was because I didn’t understand any of it and so I would get frustrated with myself. I then got a private tutor who helped me tremendously and so I learned to enjoy it eventually! Because of this, I would love to help any child who is struggling with maths because I remember the terrible and embarrassing feeling when I used to say “I can’t do maths”. I want all children to know that everyone ‘can do’ maths, it just takes practice, determination and patience.
I would ask the child or the parent what specifically they are struggling with and then slowly go over it using methods I learnt in school and with a private tutor, to hopefully help them get more confident.
