I’d like to make students understand the core concepts of topics and then transition to application I want to show my students the real life implications of certain topics to engage them. This is something I learned and experienced frequently as an engineering graduate and I aim to utilize in my teaching method. This would show them help show my students that what they're learning is more than some words on paper or on a screen. I consider "experience and application" to be one the best teachers so consistent problem solving and practice would be employed. I leave homework, exercises, and even projects for student to better understand the topic and apply it even after the teaching session is over. This would allow the student to progress even on their own and further improve their understanding on the topics discussed. One may reschedule for additional/supplementary lessons, discuss problems, or learn a new topic.

I’d also like a less professional and more friendly atmosphere where I’m not just a teacher but also a friend. My English tutoring experience taught how to to better interact and engage students or all ages. I’d like the students to feel comfortable with me and my teaching style. I’d like them to express what aspects or concepts they find difficult to grasp so that I may assist them. Share your difficulties and we can work on it to build upon success.
