I achieved a Grade 8 in GCSE Mathematics and am currently studying A-level Mathematics, so I have a strong understanding of the subject and the knowledge needed to support students working towards their GCSEs.

My lessons are friendly, patient and focused on helping each student understand the topics they find difficult. I believe that the best way to improve in Maths is to understand the method behind an answer, rather than simply memorising steps. I will explain ideas clearly, break more challenging questions into manageable stages and use worked examples to show how different methods can be applied.

Each lesson can be adapted to the student's needs and level. We can focus on a particular topic, revisit areas that need more practice or work through GCSE-style questions to develop confidence and exam technique. I will encourage students to ask questions, take their time when learning something new and explain their reasoning so that any misunderstandings can be identified and addressed.

I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. I understand that Maths can sometimes feel challenging, so I will be patient and explain concepts in different ways where needed. I can also help students identify their weaker areas and set clear goals to track their progress.

Whether a student wants to strengthen their foundations, improve their problem-solving skills or prepare for GCSE exams, my aim is to make Maths easier to understand and help them work towards their target grade.
