Anthony Jones

I have been teaching in UK Secondary Schools since completing my PGCE and QTS in 2008. Delivering courses to key stages 3,4 and 5. Having worked in industry senior roles for over 30 years I have always tried to bring that experience into the classroom and not limited my students to a purely academic approach. The fundamental aspect of my teaching is to develop students problem solving abilities, whether that is how to maximise marks on a question with specific techniques or save tie and money by improving the results and efficiency of a spreadsheet model

Throughout my career, I have taught or covered a broad range of subjects — including English, Science, and Geography — and I am known for my calm, supportive approach, strong communication skills, and ability to build confidence in learners of all ages. I specialise in helping students understand complex concepts through practical examples, structured guidance, and personalised learning strategies.
