Ansar Lala

My name is Ansar Lala, and I am a Master’s Physics graduate with a passion for teaching Maths and Science. I tutor GCSE Science and Maths, as well as A-level Physics and Maths, and I aim to create a friendly, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and developing their understanding at their own pace.

My teaching style follows an immersive and interactive approach. Rather than simply showing students how to solve a problem, I encourage them to explore why something works. Through carefully structured questions, discussions, real-world examples, and thought experiments, I help students break down challenging concepts and understand the ideas behind the equations and methods they are learning.

With around one year of tutoring experience, I have helped numerous students make meaningful progress in their studies. I adapt my lessons to suit each student's individual needs, whether they need to strengthen their foundations, prepare for exams, tackle difficult topics, or develop stronger problem-solving strategies.

For me, successful tutoring is about much more than improving grades. I want students to become confident, independent, and curious learners who feel capable of tackling unfamiliar problems.

One of the most rewarding aspects of teaching is seeing a student progress from feeling uncertain about a topic to confidently explaining and applying it themselves. Ultimately, my goal is to help students achieve stronger results while developing a genuine passion for Maths and Science, giving them the confidence and curiosity to continue learning beyond the classroom.
