Hello! I'm Anoushka, a First-Class Mechanical Engineering graduate from Bournemouth University with over five years of tutoring experience helping students excel in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

Over the past five years, I have worked with students of different ages and abilities, supporting those who need to build confidence as well as those aiming for the highest grades. I tutor students following a range of UK exam boards, including AQA, Edexcel, OCR, WJEC and Eduqas, tailoring every lesson to each student's individual learning style, strengths and academic goals, from KS1 through to A-Level.

My teaching philosophy goes beyond simply covering the syllabus. I believe students achieve the best results when they truly understand concepts rather than memorising methods. I use clear explanations, step-by-step problem solving and real-world engineering examples to make challenging topics engaging, relatable and easier to understand. Every lesson is carefully planned to strengthen subject knowledge, improve exam technique and build lasting confidence.

One of the most rewarding aspects of tutoring is seeing students make significant academic progress. Many of my students have improved by several grades within a single academic year. A particular achievement I am proud of was supporting a student who began at Grade 4 in both GCSE Mathematics and Physics and went on to achieve Grade 9s in both subjects through consistent tuition, targeted practice and growing confidence.

As a First-Class Mechanical Engineering graduate, I keep my knowledge of the UK curriculum, exam specifications and effective teaching approaches up to date, ensuring my students receive high-quality, relevant support. My aim is not only to help students achieve excellent grades but also to develop independent learners who can confidently tackle unfamiliar and challenging questions.

Lesson Information

-I offer regular one-to-one tuition for students looking for consistent, long-term academic support.

-I do not offer free trial lessons. Every lesson is a fully planned, friendly and professional session tailored specifically to each student's learning style, current ability and academic goals.

-Lessons are provided on a pay-as-you-go basis, with a minimum of 24 hours' notice required for cancellations.

-Before booking, I'm happy to discuss your child's current level, learning objectives and answer any questions you may have through the FindTutors messaging system to ensure my teaching approach is the right fit.

-As FindTutors does not process lesson payments directly through the platform, lesson scheduling and payment arrangements are organised directly with me once we've agreed to proceed.

I will then provide my dedicated tutoring email, where lesson scheduling, payment details and any necessary lesson information can be managed clearly and professionally.

-I understand that arranging payments outside the platform may be unfamiliar to some families.

For this reason, I ensure the process is straightforward, transparent and secure.

-Any personal information shared for lesson administration is treated confidentially, stored securely and used solely for tutoring-related communication and record-keeping.
