I have two years experience teaching students A Level English literature and have helped them feel more confident in the subject and grow to enjoy it more. We will use Zoom for our lessons and I will mainly share my screen so that you can see my teaching documents where we will discuss together the content. We can work through how to format an essay worthy of L5/L4 as well as use my unique notes that helped me achieve an A* in the exam. In our trial lesson, I will create a plan for our lessons based on your goals and set this in motion. I also like to make it clear to my students that we can have an open and relaxed relationship in our lessons; I am not your school teacher but more of an aid to help you excel. In other words, I want you to feel comfortable to ask me anything, even if you feel its a silly or an 'easy' question because these lessons are about you and your academic journey so you should never feel shy to express yourself. We will also discuss revision skills and techniques I used to efficiently prepare for the mocks and exams as well as how to prepare for the coursework to minimise the work of this in Year 13 as you will already be very busy with your other subjects!
