I take a structured and student-focused approach to teaching, using clear and engaging PowerPoint slides to introduce every topic. I always begin by breaking concepts down into simple definitions, ensuring there are no gaps in foundational knowledge before moving on to more complex ideas. This step-by-step method helps build confidence and creates a strong base for long-term understanding.

To support different learning styles, I incorporate a variety of techniques throughout my lessons. I regularly use analogies to relate abstract concepts to real-life situations, making them easier to grasp and remember. Visual learners benefit from diagrams, illustrations, and well-organised slides, while I also adapt explanations based on individual student preferences. In addition, I include regular knowledge checks, quick quizzes, and interactive discussions during lessons to reinforce learning and keep students actively engaged.

I encourage students to ask questions at any point, creating a supportive environment where they feel comfortable exploring topics in depth. I also provide concise summary slides and revision materials after lessons, helping students revisit key ideas and retain information more effectively. Where appropriate, I guide students through exam-style questions and problem-solving techniques, ensuring they are well-prepared and confident in applying their knowledge.

After each session i will provide each student with all the resources we discussed in the lesson for them to revisit, and i will also set a short homework for them relating to topics we discussed in the lesson, if this is in the interest of the parents and the student. I hope to see you online!
