I’d describe my teaching style as friendly, flexible, and completely centred around you. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all lessons — everyone learns differently, so I always take the time to understand your goals, strengths, and interests before planning anything. Whether you're starting from scratch or brushing up on your Greek, I’ll meet you where you are and help you move forward with confidence.
I really enjoy building lessons around topics that interest my students. If you love Greek music, food, history, or plan to travel to Greece, we can easily bring those into our sessions. I’ve found that this makes learning feel much more enjoyable and meaningful.
A typical lesson with me might include:
-A quick warm-up or informal chat in Greek
-A focus area, like grammar, vocabulary, or reading a short passage
-Lots of practice — we’ll speak, listen, and work through examples together
-A quick recap at the end, and suggestions for how to keep practising between lessons (only if you want!)
I use a mix of materials depending on your level and preferences — this might include videos, short texts, songs, role-play, or simple conversation. I’m also happy to use any resources you like or adapt to specific goals, such as exam preparation or conversational fluency.
My priority is always to make you feel comfortable, supported, and genuinely excited to learn Greek. With a background in Social Sciences, I bring empathy, cultural awareness, and a deeper understanding of learning styles to support each student’s unique journey with care and insight.
