Anna Beatriz Moraes Pedroso

Hi! I’m Anna, a passionate Portuguese teacher with over six years of experience helping students achieve their language goals in a dynamic and engaging way.

My lessons are fully personalized to your needs, interests, and learning style, whether you want to improve conversation, grammar, writing, or prepare for exams. I believe that learning should be both effective and enjoyable, so I design classes that are interactive, fun, and meaningful, using real-life topics, culture, and materials that keep you motivated.

I hold a degree in Portuguese Language and Literature and I’m currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Literary Translation, at the University of Campinas, which deepens my understanding of language, culture, and communication. I’m truly passionate about learning (Japanese, Italian, French and Spanish so far) and teaching languages, and I love helping students build confidence while discovering new ways to express themselves.

Outside the classroom, I’m a big fan of cats, I love singing, and I enjoy watching cartoons, which are interests that often inspire the relaxed and friendly atmosphere of my classes. I also enjoy exploring different cultures through music, films, and literature, which I often incorporate into my lessons to make them even richer and more engaging.

With experience teaching students of different levels and backgrounds, I always adapt my approach to support each learner’s journey, setting clear goals and celebrating progress along the way. My aim is to create a supportive space where you feel comfortable making mistakes and growing.
