I think learning should be fun so I aim for all tutorials to be enjoyable. I believe in using an encouraging teaching style adapting my teaching to meet each student's personal needs and learning style in order to meet their academic and career goals. I have been teaching students for many years (face-to-face and online). I'm confident using various online tools for teaching (notably Adobe Connect) as well as Teams, Zoom and Skype.

I like to use interactive activities to keep you focused on what you're learning. I'm here to help and support you to study and learn and cope with formal academic assessments and/or preparing for an exam and/or university level study.

I can help with your study skills and your academic writing and referencing skills. I can help you to be confident in your ability to progress well in your learning. I have taught students from diverse social and cultural backgrounds with English as a second language as well as students with learning difficulties (such as Dyselxia and Dyspraxia) as well as students with Anxiety, ADHD, Autism, mental and/or physical health challenges (depression, visually impaired etc.).

I am a fellow of the Higher Education Academy and have a professional qualification in teaching (postgraduate certificate in teaching and learning in higher education) as well as a city and guilds teaching for further education.

I have a PhD in Psychology, BSc (Hons) Psychology, MSc Forensic Psychology and an MA Social Sciences. I have taught A level Psychology as well as university level (undergraduate and postgraduate students).

I have published research as shown in my publications below.
