I am an experienced maths teacher with over ten years in the classroom, teaching students across a wide range of abilities and backgrounds. Throughout my career, I’ve developed a flexible and adaptive teaching style that allows me to meet the needs of each learner, whether they require additional support to build confidence or greater challenge to extend their understanding.

I take pride in breaking down complex mathematical concepts into clear, manageable steps and using real-life contexts to make learning more accessible and engaging. I am confident in teaching mixed-ability groups and am skilled at identifying where students may struggle, providing targeted support to help them progress.

My approach is rooted in patience, clarity, and consistency. I aim to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and are encouraged to develop both their mathematical skills and their confidence. Over time, I have built strong classroom management skills and a calm, structured presence that supports effective learning for all students.
