What Are My Lessons Like?

My lessons are highly personalised, engaging, and built entirely around your goals—whether that’s mastering exam technique, improving confidence, or developing a deeper understanding of subjects like Maths, Further Maths, or Physics. I’m currently studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Warwick, where I’m on track for a First Class Honours degree. With a strong academic foundation (10 A*s at GCSE, A*A*A at A-Level, and national recognition in the UK Maths and Physics Olympiads), I combine academic excellence with real teaching experience.

Every session follows a clear structure, which helps students stay focused and motivated:

Goal-Setting: Each lesson begins with a quick check-in and a clear objective so you know exactly what you’ll master by the end of the session.
Concept Breakdown: I explain topics step by step, using real-world analogies, diagrams, and visual aids to ensure understanding—not memorisation.
Active Practice: We’ll work through problems together, focusing on areas where students typically lose marks, and I’ll share proven techniques for boosting performance.
Exam Readiness: I integrate exam questions and timed challenges throughout the course to help students feel confident, not anxious, in test conditions.
Support Between Lessons: I also provide optional homework and summary notes to reinforce learning and build lasting retention.
Having served as Vice President of Operations at Greenleaf Tutoring, I’ve worked closely with both tutors and students to create a high-quality learning environment. That experience taught me how to connect with different learning styles and personalities—whether you’re a high-achiever aiming for A*s or someone who needs a confidence boost and a patient guide.

Above all, my sessions are interactive and student-led. I believe that tutoring should be a conversation, not a lecture. You’ll never feel like you're just being talked at—instead, we’ll solve problems, explore strategies, and celebrate your progress together.
