My teaching approach is completely student-centred and based around each child's individual needs. My goal is to help every student achieve their full potential. This could be any or all from focusing on specific questions they have, teaching the syllabus in depth, providing extra practice or working on exam technique and revision strategies.
I personally prefer a practical, hands on learning style, where doing exercises and active recall helps me to consolidate my understanding. However, I recognise every child learns differently, so I always take the time to speak to both students and parents before starting lessons. This allows me to tailor my teaching methods to suit the learner's personality, pace and goals - ensuring they feel supported and set up for success!
