Dear student, you would navigate each lesson with me from an introduction to class activity or assessment. Your English Language curriculum is designed to help you develop advanced communicative skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, with a strong focus on applying these skills in academic and professional contexts. It emphasizes a deeper understanding of English grammar, vocabulary, and spelling, while also requiring students to critically analyze literature and media through a range of genres, such as fiction, poetry, and non-fiction.
The lesson content contains a clear outline of topics and the learning outcomes expected of students. It is hoped that as the student does the needful, his/her verbal and written command of the English Language will improve seamlessly. Dear learner, expect PowerPoint presentation slides on each topic addressed in class and weekly homework. Students may undergo a test immediately after a topic has been taught in class. Learners are encouraged to engage the English Language Tutor with questions over things learnt within or outside the teaching period. Class assessments would be computer-based thus requiring learners to possess a laptop in addition to good internet connection and other study accessories.
