My sessions are structured, calm, and outcomes-focused. I work best with students who want clear steps, realistic timelines, and direct support to move an application forward without feeling overwhelmed.
Most sessions follow a consistent format: a short check-in to set priorities, targeted teaching (for example, building a balanced university list, interpreting entry requirements, or structuring an essay), guided work time where we complete key tasks together (drafting, editing, reviewing forms, building trackers), and a wrap-up with a written action plan for the week ahead.
Between sessions, I use simple systems to keep students organised: a timeline, requirements tracker, document checklist, and live task list. The goal is that students always know what to do next and why it matters.
I support Grades 9–12 students building university readiness, as well as transfer and master’s applicants. Support can include course and pathway selection, university strategy (fit, entry requirements, affordability, deadlines), applications from start to finish, essay and personal statement coaching, portfolio review where relevant, scholarship planning, interview preparation, and guidance on references and supporting documents.
My approach is organised and supportive, but also direct. I keep the process clear, break tasks into manageable steps, and prioritise accuracy, student wellbeing, and achievable progress.
I have 16+ years’ experience in education and have supported applications across the UK, US, Canada, Europe, Australia, Japan, Korea, and Thailand. Students I have supported have secured offers, and I maintain a 100% admissions success record.
