My sessions will be 100% chill. I’m no trained teacher, but I know a lot about art & manga and stuff on the creative spectrum as a whole. If you’re looking to improve your skills, learn more, and develop your style, then this will be perfect for you! I am currently studying character design and concept art at university, going into my second year in September. I’ve been drawing since I was very young, and have been interested in manga, anime, comics, and the like since then. While I might not be the most formal teacher, I definitely do have the skill set and experience required to help you. We will begin work with fundamentals: shape language, the human form, anatomy and the various methods to understand and interpret it, and move forwards into areas like perspective, comic format, and the like. TLDR, I’ll help you draw cool looking characters and then put them into a comic. We will look at multiple examples of manga and anime for inspiration and analyse the style and work of each artist in order to influence our own. I’d love to hear about all of your original characters and creations; backstories, drawings, ideas - the whole world. Art and manga is a the specific niche that I’m incredibly passionate about, and something that I wish to devote my extra time into teaching. It’ll hopefully be a lot of fun! It’ll be much like a casual conversation with lots of drawing involved. No pressure, come as you are vibe. Dont hesitate to reach out if you have any questions, I don’t bite!
