As a student teacher I have completed 24 weeks of placement in a primary school setting. I have planned and prepared lessons using engaging resources and delivered them to small groups of children independently. I understand the importance of developing a good relationship with the children and strive to build them. I always ensure the children are engaged in the activity I am carrying out ensuring that ground rules are established. I always ensure that my lessons are bespoke and tailored to the individual needs of my students. I use practical teaching methods which allows students to engage with the lesson and ensure they feel comfortable to ask questions and express how they're finding the lessons with ease. I ensure that my lessons are clear and concise and the aims are established at the beginning of the lesson si that the students are aware of what the lesson objective is as well as how to achieve it. I have experience working with children from the age of 3 to 16 and can provide a range of lessons that will adhere to their abilities and needs. I have worked in a range of settings including nurseries, primary schools, secondary schools and colleges. I am availabe both weekdays 4:00pm- 9:00pm and weekends 7:00am- 9:00pm and all lessons will be delivered online.
