Lessons are structured but flexible. I adapt exercises to suit different interests, whether you enjoy realism, sketching from life, illustration, or exploratory mark-making. Clear explanations and visual examples help break complex ideas into manageable steps, so students understand not just what to draw, but why it works.
Between exercises, we take time to reflect on progress, identify strengths, and set achievable goals. I encourage questions, curiosity, and experimentation, creating a space where mistakes are viewed as a natural and valuable part of learning. Students are welcome to bring reference images, personal projects, or specific challenges they want to work on.
With experience teaching a wide range of ages and skill levels, I aim to make each lesson both focused and enjoyable. You’ll leave each session with practical tools, exercises you can continue independently, and a clearer sense of direction in your drawing practice. Above all, my goal is to help students feel more confident, motivated, and excited to keep drawing long after the lesson ends. Lessons can be adapted for online or in-person formats, with clear guidance, shared resources, and ongoing support between sessions when needed by students.
