I am comfortable teaching all aspects of the KS3 and KS4 UK maths curriculum and I have extensive experience in preparing students for public GCSE maths exams. My lessons will generally involve discussion of key concepts and examples of mathematical techniques before allowing students to attempt these techniques themselves with guided support as necessary. Subsequent lessons will often revisit previous learning to recap and consolidate learning.
My teaching style is very patient and encouraging. Students are able to contribute to the pace and direction of their study if they feel they need to revisit prior learning before moving onto more challenging topics.
