I am a Computer Science and Mathematics graduate with a long professional career in computing, and I bring that real-world experience into every lesson. I have worked with technology and problem-solving throughout my career, which allows me to explain concepts clearly, logically, and in a way that genuinely makes sense to students.

My lessons are structured, calm, and focused on understanding rather than memorisation. I begin by identifying exactly where a student is struggling, then break topics down into manageable steps. I believe confidence comes from clarity, so I take time to ensure each concept is fully understood before moving on.

I teach GCSE and A-level Computer Science and Mathematics, as well as programming and computing skills for university students and adults. This includes Python, programming fundamentals, algorithms, problem-solving techniques, and exam preparation. I am equally happy helping students who are aiming for top grades or those who simply want to pass with confidence.

For adult learners and career-changers, I focus on practical skills and real-world applications, drawing on my professional experience to make learning relevant and useful. Lessons are adapted to individual goals, whether that is exam success, improving workplace skills, or gaining confidence with technology.

All lessons are friendly, supportive, and tailored to the student’s pace. My aim is not just to improve results, but to help students feel comfortable and capable when approaching maths or computing challenges.
